Keep the Money; Do Nothing

In September 1943, the Zionist leadership met the most determined effort by the Jews in the Land of Israel to save their brothers in Europe. The Zionists were interested in getting their hands on the money raised by the Jewish community without lifting a finger to save the hapless Jews in Hitler-occupied Europe.


In the end, the Zionist leadership succeeded.
